Region of Halton May 3rd, 2006 Open House and Information Meeting
Over 150 people attended the Region of Halton Open House and Information Meeting on Wednesday May 3rd, 2006. It was another significant event for all who oppose the Lowndes Holdings Corp. application to develop the 8th largest quarry in Canada. Delegates of all ages stood before Representatives from the Region of Halton, City of Hamilton and Lowndes Holdings Corp. to voice their conerns and opposition to the proposed quarry. As Communities united together for a common cause - we can and will win this battle.
