Community Experts

This battle will require expertise in order to Win. The majority of the financial resources raised by the Community for this fight have been invested into our Legal and Technical Expert team. In order to ensure that we properly engaged with the many processes involved with this kind of issue, and that the information we put forward was substantive and accurate derived from established experts in their respective fields, the following Team has been assembled to support Our Case.

Legal

Our legal team consists of three distinguished lawyers from the prestigious legal firm of Davis & Company LLP (http://www.davis.ca). Hydrogeology

Kenneth G. Raven M.Sc., P. Eng., Principal and Senior Hydrogeologist of INTERA Engineering Ltd. (http://www.intera.ca) based in Ottawa Ontario has been engaged to review all hydrogeolgic aspects of this battle. Ken has extensive experience in this type of proposed development. Environment & Natural Features

Brian Hindley M.Sc. is an Aquatic Biologist with Aquafor Beech Limited, a Brampton based Engineering & Environmental Services company. (http://www.aquaforbeech.com) Brian's Masters degree is in Fisheries Biology and he has over 20 years of experience in aquatic ecology, water resources management, environmental planning, impact assessment and watershed management. Geographic Information Systems

Garry Hunter M.A.Sc., P.Eng. is a Principal with Hunter and Associates GIS Environmental & Engineering Consultants. (http://www.hunter-gis.com) Gary has over 35 years of experience in matters similar to ours. GIS or Geographic Information Systems is a technology that is used to view and analyze data from a geographic perspective. GIS links location to information (such as streets, streams, woodlots, wells, etc.) and layers that information to give you a better understanding of how it all interrelates.
